Store Up Your Treasure in Heaven (Easter)
19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. ( Matthew 6:19-21 ) What does it mean for something to be valuable? Value is defined as, “the regard that something is held to deserve; the importance, worth, or usefulness of something.” When something is valuable , we often make an extra effort to take care of it because we believe that it’s special. Things like houses or cars or diamonds are often thought of as valuable because they cost a lot of money. However, value is more than how much money something is worth.
